1 john 3:19-20

It is by our actions that we know we are living in the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before the Lord, even if our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

It's true. We sometimes go by what our heart dictates us. Not that it's wrong but its deceiving. As children of God we can prove our faith through our actions. So we get into helping other people or we do something to show that we've been " changed." Yet at times we tend to entertain the opinions of others about it. The thing is not everyone we can and will please but because we care too much about what other people say we then begin to look down on ourselves and end up not doing anything about it.
Because our heart dictated that "were not fit" for it we stop.
But that's just what the heart is saying how about the One who created it? (GOD) his dictation and His say is all that matters. You wanna prove ur faith and that u are a child of God? Do it! By all means. after all like it said, God is greater than our hearts, He knows everything. So whether other people or our hearts tell us otherwise, IT DOESNT MATTER!

Today, I cut my hair :) it's pretty short. Yoli said I look younger haha great oh well it'll grow but the rest of my fam like it on me. But like my devo, doesnt matter! Haha oh and it was hailing in sylmar today! That was my first time. Haha aw it was coool!! It lasted for about 5 mins sigh. And it rained hard again today but I stayed home folded some clothes and cleaned my room. So pretty productive. Yee tomorrow I got an audition for my schools spring dance production. Ahh it'll be funnn! Ok I should get some rest.
